A man has been left with a broken nose and eye socket after being attacked by two men.

The victim was walking home on Black Lion Street, Brighton, between 3am and 4am on Sunday when he was approached by a group of four men, two of whom attacked him.

Police believe that there are two suspects.

The first is described as a white male with short dark hair, wearing a light coloured shirt and had a plaster cast on his lower arm.

The other suspect is described as a white male with a tribal tattoo on his neck.

Anyone who witnessed the incident should call 101 or email 101@sussex.police.pnn.uk, quoting serial 371 of July 27.
