A burglar has been jailed for 18 months for taking £40,000 of designer clothes in an early morning smash and grab.
Daniel Isaacs, 31, of Marine Parade, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to burglary at Lewes Crown Court on Friday (August 1).
The court heard he stole the clothes and other items from the Profile store in Dukes Lane, Brighton, on May 12 this year.
Police traced a car linked to the burglary and arrested Isaacs in Nottingham.
Detective constable Richard Valder-Davis said: "We have been able to recover around half of the items stolen and hold Isaacs accountable for his part in the burglary for which he was sentenced to 18 months.
“We know Isaacs worked with other people and we are urging anyone who has information to contact us. This can be done anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
