A car crashed into a security barrier at Gatwick Airport in the early hours of this morning.
Just after 3am the car, being driven by a lone man, collided with the yellow security barriers at Concorde House at the airport's South Terminal.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews from Gatwick, Crawley and Horley attended and used cutting equipment to free the driver.
They managed to rescue the man just before 4am and he was left the in the care of the ambulance service.
