A MAN arrested after being caught trespassing on a railway line has been cautioned.
The 37-year-old went on to the line near Fishersgate station on Friday morning.
The man had been escorted from the train at the station by staff before going on to the tracks.
He was arrested by British Transport Police (BTP) and questioned on Saturday before receiving a formal caution.
A spokesman for BTP said no further action would be taken.
The incident led to delays of up to 30 minutes for trains along the line between Littlehampton and Brighton.
