Four new homes could be built on council-owned land in Portslade if plans are approved.
The cluster of three bedroom houses will have off-street parking if the Brighton and Hove City Council-owned plot is given the go-ahead.
The properties would be built on land to the rear of Easthill Drive, next to Foredown Road, which used to be a series of garages.
In planning documents agent Baily Garner said the development was essential to tackle the city’s housing crisis. A decision is expected by September 29.
