A teenager who died outside a Brighton nightclub has been named by his family.

Lee Rebbeck, 18, of Laburnum Avenue, Hove, died shortly after collapsing outside Shooshh nightclub in King Roads Arches, Brighton, in the early hours of Friday morning.

The former Blactchington Mill six form student, who worked part time at the Co-op supermarket, was on a night out with friends when he collapsed at about 5.30am.

His family said paramedics resuscitated him twice on the beach and attempted a third effort before he died of cardiac arrest.

Lee’s parents believe their son, who was making plans to enrol on a civil engineering course at Northbrook College in Worthing in September, had been inside the Audio nightclub in Marine Parade but staggered to the seafront by himself.
