People with an interest in the NHS are being urged to join a new political group.
It will be the Sussex branch of the National Health Action Party and is aimed at those who support the original principles of the NHS – that people can get good quality care free at the point of delivery.
A spokesman for the group said they were aiming to raise public awareness about what is happening to the NHS and put it high on the local agenda.
Plans could include organising campaigning activities in the lead up to next year’s general election while support is also needed for roles such as secretary or treasurer.
Anyone interested in getting involved in the Worthing-based group should call Carl Walker on 07955 233505 or email nha.sussex@gmail.com.
