To all students who achieved the GCSE results they needed to continue their education, a huge congratulations. For those who for what ever reason didn’t get the grades, it is not the end of the world.

An option is open for you to gain the qualifications necessary to go on and be the best that you can be. Quiterie says...

Well done to everyone who did well today.

Looking forward to Gareth Davies' article on this tomorrow. His reporting of results from Brighton and Hove seemed to dry up very early. I suspect this was as soon as he realised they were all dropping, and this didn't tie in with his earlier unsubstantiated claim that Sussex results were set to be 'above average'.

The rest of this 'Live Event' was exceptionally dull with a series of tweets from people which, although very interesting to them are of zero interest to anyone else.
