Cyclist seriously injured in road accident
A cyclist has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after falling from his bike.
The 49-year-old from Billingshurst fell from his pedal cycle just before 7.30pm in New Road, Billingshurst.
He sustained a head injury and was taken to Hurstwood Park Hospital in Haywards Heath, where he is currently in a serious condition.
Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact the Sussex Road Policing Unit via collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting Operation Madrid.
