Last exhibit for artist
AN ARTIST will be holding her last art exhibition after 21 years of displaying her work.
Dorothy Valenti has been holding her solo exhibitions at South Heighton Village Hall but this will be her last.
She said: “I think 21 years is quite a long time and the whole aspect of the art world has changed quite a lot. I joined Newhaven art club in 1967 and I have been working here for over 30 years.”
The exhibition will feature local views and still life – mostly in water colours. It will be run at South Heighton Village Hall from 10.30am to 5pm today, tomo- rrow and on Monday for free.
