ROCKING Brighton seven-piece The Itchy Fingers brought The Lanes to a standstill on Saturday night at an open air concert.

The band performed outside The Pump House in Market Street in a fundraising gig for the Martlets hospice in Hove.

Last year the event raised more than £1,000 and it is expected that this weekend’s celebration raised a similar amount.

The Itchy Fingers have been together for six years although guitarist Pete Thomas and singer Mike Carter have been playing together since 1975 when their band was supported by Billy idol.
