A house occupant disturbed a suspect to an attempted burglary.
A woman was trying to break into a house through its kitchen window when she realised the occupant was home.
The woman gestured to a nearby man and ran off.
The house is in Tackleway, Hastings Old Town.
The woman is described as white, aged 20 to 22, 5ft 4in and of slim build with blonde hair tied up in a bun. She was wearing a pale pastel V-neck T-shirt, an unzipped navy blue shell suit-type hooded jacket and tracksuit bottoms. She had blue eyes and possibly a tattoo on the side of her neck.
The man is described as white, aged 20 to 25 and 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in. He was wearing a stone baseball cap, possibly emblazoned with the letters NYC.
Anyone with information relating to the attempted burglary at 3.20pm on Thursday, August21, should email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 981 of 21/08.
