TORY councillors in Brighton want to follow in London’s footsteps and introduce ‘talking statue’ technology to the city’s historic icons.
Withdean Councillor Ann Norman has asked for new technology to give voice to Queen Victoria, Prince Regent, Max Miller and Steve Ovett.
In London, playwrights and actors put words into the mouths of 40 public statues, with sound accessed through smartphones.
