TV and film star Christopher Biggins visited a Brighton HIV charity.
The star visited The Sussex Beacon and took a tour around the centre ahead of a fundraising ball he will host for the charity in November.
The Brighton centre cares for men, women and families affected by AIDS.
The comedy actor appeared in the TV sitcoms Porridge, Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads? and Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em. He also appeared in The Rocky Horror Show film in 1975.
The Hallowe’en Horror Show will be at the Brighton Hilton Metropole on Saturday, November 1 and is being organised by the company E3 Group.
The occasion will celebrate the festival with a themed feast, a live floor show and music, as well as Hallowe’en games, an auction and a raffle.
“I am absolutely thrilled to be hosting this event and remember it is just a jump to the left...and then a step to the right,” the star joked.
Simon Dowe, charity chief executive, said: “Every year we have to raise £1.2 million to keep our services running.
“This year the Hallowe’en Horror Show will help us to achieve our fundraising target.”
Tickets for the event are now on sale at halloweenhorrorshow.co.uk
