A colourful spectacle brightened up the day for visitors to a popular flower show.
The event, organised by the Sussex Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society, attracted a host of entries and large displays of the distinctive and lovingly nurtured flowers.
The show took place at South Downs Nurseries in Brighton Road, Hassocks, on Tuesday with judging taking place in the morning and the flowers going on show in the afternoon.
The society has been running since 1966 and has two shows a year.
