A SOLICITOR has painted a special piece to help raise money in a charity auction.
Kirsty Craghill, from Hove, painted the picture after being inspired by a friend’s recovery from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
The money raised from the sale will be donated to the Lymphoma Association.
The 39-year-old said: “When my friend Penny Coles, from York, asked for a piece for the auction I jumped at the chance to help.
“To coincide with the Lymphoma Association’s Pitch Up Purple Campaign, I have created a piece called 50 Shades of Purple.”
Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma is the most common cancer to effect people under 30.
Ms Craghill wanted to invoke the states of mind her friend passed through when overcoming illness.
The piece will be on eBay until 8pm on September 21 and can be found by searching for Cow – 50 Shades of Purple.
