Aircraft crash lands in field - man flown to hospital
AN AIRCRAFT crash landed in a field on Saturday.
The pilot was flying a light aircraft and crash landed in a field off Pipers Lane, Northchapel, near Petworth sometime between 1.20pm and 2.20pm on Saturday.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the man was taken to hospital by air ambulance while crews contacted a leak from the aircraft.
