A high street bank is looking to employ more than 25 people at its Brighton store which opens early next year.
Metro Bank is creating careers ranging from customer service to senior store management at its store on 82 North Street, Brighton.
The bank was launched in July 2010 with a pledge to revolutionise banking.
It promises convenience to customers with services such as free coin counting, instant printing and replacements for lost or stolen payment cards, safe deposit boxes, and a 24 hour contact centre manned by people not machines.
The store will open outside traditional hours from 8am–8pm Monday to Friday, and 8am–6pm Saturday and 11am–5pm Sunday and bank holidays, 362 days a year.
Regional director Kevin Walker said: “In our customer facing roles we recruit for attitude, and we’re looking for colleagues in Brighton who can demonstrate passion for what they do and love interacting with people.
“We give opportunities to colleagues looking to build a career with the bank, and support our talent by providing a well-established training and development programme.”
