A burglar targeted a home on a busy road and made off with some foreign currency.
Between 7.45am and 5pm on Wednesday a house in the A21 Sedlescombe Road North, St Leonards, was burgled while the owners were out.
A small amount of foreign currency was stolen.
Detective Constable Cally Fox said: "The road is a very busy one so there will have been lots of people passing the address while it was being burgled.
"We need to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or anyone who saw people acting suspiciously."
