FARMERS and families flocked to a farm for an annual ploughing match.
The 84th year of the event, organised by Laughton and District Agricultural Society, took place at Court Farm in Brighton.
Vintage tractors and ploughs, as well as the most modern machinery competed and the shire horses proved to be as popular as ever.
A number of businesses who supply the agricultural industry pitched up on the day to exhibit their work.
Pupils from Iford and Kingston Primary School were among those present after the society welcomed them to learn about farming. A family section was also set up, offering cooking workshops, painting, flower arranging and displays of fruit and vegetables.
