Regarding Circus Street, why not knock Milner Flats down and incorporate that site into the whole development and build homes for ‘residents’ such as my grandchildren, who are still living with their parents unable to make their own homes and start their families.
Alternatively, why don’t we put the students into Milner Flats. It won’t hurt them to be deprived of light for a few months and move our valued residents into new, purpose-built flats in the development?
But I suspect Milner Flats have already been bought by landlords for rent to students. There are few council tenants to worry about and who cares about them anyway?
