A MISSING man may be camping out in the woods or rural areas, police believe.
David Harrington, 58, has not been seen since about 10pm on Tuesday (October 14).
Police say they are "very concerned" for his welfare and are appealing for the public's help in finding him.
Mr Harrington is believed to be in the Hastings, St Leonards-on-Sea and Bexhill-on-Sea area, where he lives.
Police fear he may have nothing on him other than his maroon and grey tent.
He is thought to be wearing a blue, padded coat with a Union Jack and the words "Fox and Scott" on the right sleeve, black jeans ands black boots.
PC Toby Spires, of Hastings Neighbourhood Response Team, said: "We are very concerned for him and need people to be on the look out for this man and his tent in rural or wooded areas in the Hastings and Bexhill area."
Anyone with information is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 1098 of 15/10.
