ALBION-loving youngsters have been taking on Premier League clubs in a youth football tournament.
Albion in the Community took two youth teams to the 2014 Premier League Kicks Cup to compete alongside more than 600 young people from 46 other professional football clubs on Hackney Marshes.
AITC fielded a girls' U18 team and a boys' U16 team but unfortunately both teams were knocked out in the group stages, with the boys losing to eventual winners, West Ham.
Ex-Bolton star Fabrice Muamba also attended the day, which featured informative workshops on the dangers of drugs, gangs, and bullying.
The AITC Kicks project, held in partnership with the Premier League, provides free football and other sporting opportunities for young people aged between 11 and 18 years of age in deprived areas of Sussex.
