I live a long way from you, but I heard about the kissing protest this evening on my local radio station and some of the protesters were interviewed.
My own thoughts are that the lady customer was right.
Most people would be too frightened these days to complain about something like this.
Look at the actions of Stonewall through its bus-side ads and its massive influence on the political classes and the media. Look at all its efforts to re-engineer what tiny children in infant and primary schools are taught.
How many people dare to complain? The lady in this case was not cowed. Her child came first.
She knew what was right for her child to witness, and what was wrong.
Her mother’s natural instinct should cause the two women concerned and the hundreds of those protesters outside Sainsbury’s to stop being hurt and pause instead to consider their actions.
