Biker suffers serious foot injury in crash with car
A motorcyclist suffered a serious injury to his foot when he collided with a car.
The 53-year-old man from Eastbourne was riding south towards Hailsham on the A22 Caldicotts Lane shortly before 4pm on Wednesday when his BMW bike collided with a Peugeot 208.
The man was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment to his foot. The driver of the car, a 65-year-old woman from Eastbourne, was uninjured.
