A cyclist has suffered serious injuries following a crash with a car.

A male cyclist in his 30s has been airlifted to St George’s Hospital in London following a crash at a junction in Eastbourne this morning.

The crash happened at just before 11.10am at the corner of Granville Road and Carlisle Town in the town.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101.
