Budding sports stars of the future can take inspiration from a host of speakers at a charity event.

The Starr Trust, a Brighton-based charity that champions young people to achieve their goals, is holdings its ‘BN Athlete’ event at Brighton Aldridge Community Academy on Tuesday November 11.

The Starr Hubb event will celebrate all things physical and feature a selection of inspiring people who take a far from conventional look at what it means to be an athlete in the BN postcode area.

Those speaking include sprinting champion Stephen Ferroni, co-directors at Prodigal Theatre Miranda Henderson and Alister O’Loughlin, founder and director of Streetfunk and Marina Studios JP Omari, author of ‘winning strategies for sports and life’ Midgie Thompson, Albion Powerchair Football player Jadey Yesilada and Starr Trust chairman and cross-Channel swimmer Rob Starr.

Tickets are available from www.eventbrite.co.uk and are free for young people under 18. Over 18s are asked to make a donation.
