My response to Jason Kitcat’s letter, System is wrong (Letters, October 28).
I wonder if the council know the fairy tale the Emperor’s New Clothes? Jason Kitcat’s latest press release reminds me of that tale.
He states that he and the council are concerned about “keeping public services provided by local not-for-profit providers”.
That they have just given the tender for the Substance Misuse Services to an out of area third sector organisation and an out of area NHS trust.
What a mockery of their own policies and values that he and the Health and Wellbeing Board changed the much praised existing collaboration of local NHS and local third sector organisations.
What empty words he speaks.
