A CYCLIST has been injured in a road traffic collision.
Emergency services were called to Nevill Road, Hove, at the junction with Nevill Avenue, at around 5pm this afternoon.
Sussex Police could not immediately provide further information but confirmed officers had been called to "a road traffic incident involving a member of the public on their pedal cycle."
Nevill Road heading south from the junction was closed while police investigated.
Witnesses reported seeing paramedics tending to the cyclist. The ambulance service has yet to respond to request for further information.
The road is now open (7.30pm).
