A PENSIONER was left with two fractured fingers after being hit by a metal chair during a street fight.
The 65-year-old woman was passing as two men were fighting outside a parade of shops in Findon Road, Worthing, at about 3.30pm last Saturday.
One man picked up the metal chair and threw it before both men walked off in different directions.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
The men were white and about 40 years of age.
One was wearing a blue top and the other was wearing a white top.
PC Matt Welch said: “The parade of shops in Findon Road is a very busy area and there would have been lots of cars passing by at that time of the afternoon so there could be plenty of people who saw what happened.
“We need to speak to anyone who was in the area and who saw or heard some part of the incident.”
