Body found at sea being investigated as "unexplained death"
A body found at sea is being treated by police as an "unexplained death".
The body of a man was discovered by members of the Worthing Sailing Club at 12.21pm on Sunday around 200 metres out to sea.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: " The incident is currently being investigated as an unexplained death. The identity of the man is known to police but he has not yet been formally identified."
It is understood the body is not that of missing Alfriston yachtsman Len King or the man who reportedly jumped off Brighton Pier on Friday.
