A SERIES of public exhibitions will be held to update the public about the building of a new link road.

The events in St Leonards, Crowhurst and Bexhill will provide information on the Bexhill to Hastings Link Road, which is expected to provide a £1 billion boost to the area.

They will include maps, photographs and data on recent and future developments, including the opening of the first section of the road as a diversion route while Ninfield Road Bridge is demolished.

The first event will be held at West St Leonards Community Centre, in Filsham Road, on November 25. The second will be at the Plough Inn, in Chapel Hill, Crowhurst, on November 26 and the third at the Sidley Children’s Centre, in Ninfield Road, on November 27.

All the exhibitions will run from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.
