A major fire has almost destroyed two neighbouring homes.
The blaze broke out in a row of terraced homes in Chevening Close, Broadfield, Crawley, just before 3.30am today.
The fire started in the roof of one of the properties and quickly spread next door.
Both roofs were destroyed and the rest of the two homes were badly damaged by heat, fire and smoke.
Firefighters from across West Sussex were called to tackle the fire and an aerial ladder was also needed.
The Red Cross emergency support van was also there.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
The fire is now out but crews are still at the scene and making the area safe.
An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
