How can you honestly report that two-thirds of the public in Hove and Brighton support the plan for the King Alfred site (The Argus, January 25)?

Only 1,000 people had been contacted by telephone to vote. I wonder how those people were picked, and by whom?

Come on Brighton and Hove City Council, let's have a democratic vote for all residents. Then, as long as it is seen to be fair and above board, we should all be happy.
