No one can be prepared for the impact heart disease can have on you or someone you know. Living with it can be very frightening and many people don't always receive the support they need.
That's why the British Heart Foundation (BHF) aims to make sure care is provided whenever and wherever it is needed.
With your help, the BHF's Valentine Appeal is aiming to raise £1 million to help fund BHF heart nurses and the charity's information line. This will help us to support even more heart patients and their families.
There is a range of ways you can support the appeal and make February 14 a day to remember, not just for you and your loved one but for heart patients across the UK.
