I was privileged to attend the Martlets Musical Spectacular this weekend.

What a delight to see so many people giving their time and effort raising money for youngsters.

It was wonderful to hear the response of an audience which was enjoying a dazzling evening and was immersed in a wave of community spirit.

What a shame to return to reality today - a world full of envy, greed, discontent and people in high office filling their pockets without a thought for those in need.
