A CHARITY boss has paid a visit to 10 Downing Street.
Ryan Heal, chief executive of Brighton-based children’s charity Rockinghorse, was invited to the reception by Brighton Kemptown MP Simon Kirby to meet Samantha Cameron. They were joined by Danny Dwyer, fundraiser for the HIV charity Sussex Beacon, who also represented Brighton as a charity champion.
Rockinghorse is the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton and also supports the Trevor Mann baby unit at the neighbouring Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Mr Heal said: “Visiting number 10 Downing Street was an incredible experience. It was an honour to represent the Rockinghorse team and we’re very grateful to Simon Kirby for the invitation.”
Mrs Cameron said: “It was a privilege to meet Ryan. The amazing work is changing the lives of individuals and families across Brighton and beyond.”
