A WOMAN wearing "country-style clothing" struck a pensioner and drove off after checking he was okay.
Police are appealing for the driver of a car involved in a minor collision with a pedestrian in Berwick, near Polegate, to come forward.
An 80-year-old local man was involved in the incident that happened in Station Road around 9am on Friday, January 16, but wasn't reported to police.
The vehicle stopped and the driver, described by police as a middle aged woman wearing country-style clothing, spoke to the man and checked he was ok before leaving.
The driver, along with any witnesses, is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 1421 of 24/01.
