Edmund Kean was the greatest romantic actor of the 19th century and a major player in the 200 year history of Theatre Royal Brighton. Having been recreated by Dumas on the Paris stage and reinvented by Sartre in the 20th century, he will now be embodied by Antony Sher, one of our most inspiring classical actors.
