Long delays after van hits central reservation on the A23
A VAN carrying two men smashed into the central reservation of the A23.
The van has been left straddling the barrier but the occupants were unhurt after the accident near Sayers Common, Hurstpierpoint, at 7am this morning.
Police had to set up a rolling road block to slow traffic approaching the scene and then temporarily closed lane two southbound to enable the van to be recovered.
Long delays have resulted in both directions.
