ROAD checks on the A23 will result in lane closures and 40mph speed limits.
For two nights from Monday, the London-bound carriageway of the A23 between Hickstead and the B2116 will be affected between 8pm and 6am.
Restrictions will be in force on the coastbound carriageway between the B2116 and Hickstead during the same times for three nights from Wednesday.
Then, on Friday, the Pease Pottage section of the carriageway will be affected London-bound, again during the same times.
Meanwhile a drainage survey will mean part of the M23 will be closed for three weeks.
Taking place between junctions eight and nine of the M23, the survey means one lane will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am.
The work runs from Monday to Friday, in both directions, until Friday, February 20.
