Age UK Brighton & Hove would like to take this opportunity to thank the students and Social Action Committee at Portslade Aldridge Community Academy (PACA), for their kind donation of festive food hampers, which we had great pleasure in distributing to a number of our clients over Christmas.
All the hampers were beautifully decorated and the students had taken care to include a balance of essential foods to help keep people warm as well as treats and little gifts.
The hampers were very well received, with people telling us how it helped them feel cared for.
In this cold weather, Age UK Brighton & Hove also have grants to help with the payment of heating bills, as well as heaters and blankets to distribute to those who need them.
We really appreciate that, for many years now, the students of PACA have thought of us and supported the work we do for the older people of Brighton & Hove.
