A MAN had his wallet and iPod taken in a mugging by three hooded teenagers.

The victim, a 20-year-old man from Eastbourne, was walking through Bourne Street in the town when he was approached by the three teens.

They demanded money and threatened him, pushing him over, before stealing his wallet and iPod.

The mugging happened at about 5.30pm on Saturday, January 31, though police have only just released the details.

DC Laura James said: "The victim was thankfully not injured in the robbery.

"He describes the three teenagers as between 14 and 16.

"One was slim, white, around 5ft 8in with short brown hair and wearing a light grey hoody and dark-coloured tracksuit bottoms.

"The second one was also slim, white and about 5ft 8in with short dark hair and wearing a dark-coloured hoody and dark-coloured tracksuit bottoms.

"The third one was white and also wearing a hoody."
