IT is fantastic to see how friends and family are rallying around Sam Beaven and her family as she battles cancer.
Their generosity has helped raise more than £25,000 so far towards the £100,000 target to send Mrs Beaven abroad for pioneering treatment that could extend her life.
Mrs Beaven’s courage is an inspiration and her greatest wish is to spend more time with her beloved children.
Unfortunately the clock is ticking and Mrs Beaven does not have the time to go through the long process of trying to get NHS funding to cover the cost of the treatment. She urgently needs help now and the sooner the money is raised, the sooner she can get the treatment that could help.
The community has already done a fantastic job in helping her but the fight isn’t over yet and it is hoped many more will come forward to ensure the target is reached.
