A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of breaching the peace after a rooftop stand-off with police.
Sussex Police said a man was standing near the edge of the roof, refusing to speak to officers and shouting and swearing at people walking past.
He came off the roof in Second Avenue, Hove, about half an hour after police were called, and went into a flat, police said.
Police were called at 12.50pm today (Tuesday). The man arrested is in custody.
