FOUR bottles of beer have got all the gear to run the Brighton half marathon.
A team from the Dark Star Brewery will be dressing up as their favourite tipples for the 13.1 mile event on Sunday.
Steve Scott, Paul Prosser, Simon Ho and Chris Mallinson will be taking part in fancy dress to support the Rockinghorse Childen’s Charity’s appeal to create a sensory garden at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.
The team will be celebrating taking part in the event by a trip to The Evening Star pub in Brighton after the race.
Simon, who works in the Dark Star account team, said: “We were inspired by the team from Brighton-based craft brewery and wholesaler, Brighton Bier, who currently hold the record – maybe we can get a few more brewers involved in this next year, each running for their own charity.”
