Flood alerts have been issued for parts of the Sussex coast.
The Environment Agency says higher than normal tides are expected today and over the weekend.
A combination of this and strong winds may lead to flooding in some areas.
The tide level at Shoreham is forecast to be close to the tops of the walls around town, and high up the slipways.
Small amounts of flooding are also forecast to affect localised areas of Shoreham, including Sussex Yacht Club.
Houseboats along the Riverbank may also be affected by the higher than normal tide.
Tidal areas of Newhaven including Newhaven Marina, West Quay, Riverside North, Denton Island, are also on alert.
Low lying land next to the River Ouse could be affected.
Alerts have also been issued for the Upper Ouse and tributaries from Slaugham to Barcombe Mills and the River Rother at the far east of the county.
