Thrillseekers looking to take on a 100 metre water slide down one of Brighton’s main roads can apply from today.
Excitement has been building for the idea rapidly since The Argus revealed the launch of the RNLI fundraiser down Edward Street yesterday.
360 lucky competition winners will get the chance to take on the slippery slope in front of their friends and families on Saturday March 21.
It is hoped the event will attract a similar level of interest as an art exhibition in Bristol last May which saw 100,000 people compete for the limited 360 places and thousands more watching on.
Anyone interested to be in with a chance of sliding should text the word SLIDE and then their first name and last name to 82727 with texts costing £1.50.
Entrants must be aged 18 or over to enter.
