It is going to be a bright and breezy day with sunny spells and scattered wintry showers.

The showers will become isolated later in the afternoon and evening. Moderate north-westerly winds.

Tonight, any remaining showers will soon die out and good clear spells will develop in many areas.

A sharp frost will form under clear skies and the odd pocket of mist or fog is likely.

Tomorrow, after a predominantly dry and fine start, sunny spells will become increasingly confined to the east through the morning as cloud and outbreaks of rain push in from the west.

During the afternoon, rain is expected, accompanied by gusty winds. The main area of rain will give way to clear spells and squally showers from the west during the evening.

Monday will be a very windy day with sunshine and showers, these often heavy and squally in nature with the risk of hail and thunder.

Similarly on Tuesday, it will be windy with sunny intervals and showers, some heavy and wintry with a risk of thunder. Temperatures close to the average, although feeling cold in the wind.
