CAMPAIGNERS have a nervous month to wait out on a judge’s verdict over whether a pub retains its protected status.
The appeal over whether the 145-year-old Rose Hill Tavern in Brighton will retain its rating as an asset of community value was heard on Tuesday with a judge retiring to make his decision in the next three to four weeks.
Hove-based Evenden Estates is challenging the status and want to convert the building into a three-bedroom home.
